10/05/20 Meeting Minutes

Claire: President

  • Covid policy reminders

    • No more than 10

    • Masks required

    • Virtual option

    • If you test positive, must alert me

  • Representing

    • Be mindful of what you post, especially if you have aggie blossoms on your bio/caption

    • Be mindful of where you are when you are wearing a blossoms shirt

Kara: VP

  • Fill out meeting minute form if you miss a meeting

Halen: Treasurer

  • Have to have half of your dues paid by retreat (with the exception of petals)

  • First installment due tonight

Laura: Secretary

  • Send conflict forms if you have to miss, demerit if you don’t, and fill out meeting minutes form by friday or it is a demerit if you have missed

Saanya: Sisterhood

  • Study group: house an event is 2 points

  • RSVP for Retreat on Facebook, please RSVP by Saturday

  • Big/Lil pref form due by Friday

    • Bigs go on at least 5 dates

Cristen: Social

  • Date party is on the 22nd of Oct

Amanda: PR

  • Pick up General Member shirts from her house, after you have paid first installment of dues

  • PR Sale started today, you have to sell 3 shirts minimum

    • Cannot sell to other females that go to A&M and or Blinn

      • Can sell to grandma, mom, sister/friend that doesnt go here, etc.

  • Additional sales will go to Fundraising

Shelby W: Fundraising

  • Oct 21: Grub Profit share

  • Sticker sales: have to sell 3 at minimum

Shelby S: Historian

  • Send photos to me/post and tag aggie blossoms to be blossom of the week

Lindsey: Service & Charity

  • Oct 24: Road cleanup with DKE

  • Oct 25: Storytime with Aggie Keys. Reading little stories and distribute to kids

  • Oct 30: Bring 2 cans as entry fee to the DKE mixer

Michelle: Philanthropy

  • KKD Fundraiser

    • Sept 21-Nov 6

    • $10 a box

    • Required to sell 1 box each (1 box is 1 point and anything after is 0.5 points)

    • Social media post does not count as required philanthropy point

  • Chipotle Profit Share Oct 6

    • 5-9pm

    • Bring guests and wear shirt for extra points

Arianna: Recruitment

  • Petal gathering at the end of the month

09/21/20 Meeting Minutes

Claire: President

  • COVID Precautions

  • Standard board elections are due before you leave the meeting today

  • Deadline to change membership status is TODAY

Treasurer: Halen

  • Payment plan is due 10/2

    • First installment is due 10/5

  • GM are $120 and petals are $150

    • Discounted are $70 and $60

Sisterhood: Saanya

  • Study group: 4 hours for 4 points on zoom

    • If you host an event you can get a point

  • Bigs must go on at least 5 dates

  • Zoom speed dating

  • Bob Ross event

Social: Cristen

  • AGI mixer on 9/24

Fundraising: Shelby W

  • On the Border Profit Share: 9/22 11-10pm

Service&Charity: Lindsey

  • Sept 27th from 2-4: Cards for Hospitalized People

  • 5 cards = 0.5 points MAX of 3 points!

  • Can email pictures of cards

Philanthropy: Michelle

  • Krispy Kreme Donuts (Marketplace not up yet)

  • September 21st - November 6th

  • Donuts sold by the dozen, only Original Glazed

  • $10 a box

  • Online vouchers will be sent out after Nov. 6th

  • General Members and Petals required to sell 1 box

  • First box is 1 point, anything after that is 0.5 point

  • No limit

09/07/20- Meeting Minutes

  • President- Claire

    • Groups of 10 max, masks required always, virtual options for all events

    • Report positive testing for COVID to Claire and the university

    • Email Claire by September 21st for membership status updates/change

  • VP- Kara

    • You have to be in the meeting by 7:10 or you will not be let into the meeting!

  • Treasurer-Halen

    • Dues: $120 for general members

      • Discounted dues for GM last semester is $70

      • ….for petal last semester is $60

    • Payment plan is due October 2nd

    • Marketplace is ready to go

  • Recruitment- Arianna

    • Next informational October 8th @ 6

    • Required to go to one

      • Flyer and yard sign to make up for the point if you have to miss both

    • Apps due the Sep 11th

    • Social round: Sep 16th

      • Google form to recommend girls for Blossoms

  • Sisterhood- Saanya

    • Study group: every hour is one point

      • 1 point for housing an event

    • Tie Dye: provide a ride is 1 point

    • Wear a mask, no more than 10 people in a house/group

    • Fill out Big Pref form and RSVP to the facebook event for the Tie Dye

  • Social- Cristen

    • Text ideas for mixers

    • Mixer with AGI: Sept 24th

  • PR- Amanda

    • Pick up recruitment shirts ASAP!

      • Reaching out to girls who still haven’t picked them up

        • If you do not reply I will sell them during the semester

  • Fundraising- Shelby W

    • Blaze profit share Sept 8th

      • 11am - 9pm

        • 1 point for going and buying something, 1 point for bringing a friend, 1 point for wearing a shirt
